Every October, we unveil a new collection of exclusively-designed welcome mats. Each adorned with a pink ribbon, 25% of the purchase price of every mat sold is donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF)—the highest rated breast cancer organization in the United States. Since its inception in 2003, our Welcome-a-Cure program has raised nearly 1 million dollars for a variety of breast cancer research charities. This year's collections aims to highlight the BCRF's mission with three micro-collections: Research, Support, and Thrive.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we asked 5 home decor influencers to select their favorite designs and incorporate the pink ribbon welcome mat into their fall front porch decor.
Inspired by the amazing work of the BCRF and researchers around the world, the Research collection honors those dedicated to solving the complex puzzle that is breast cancer.
Rather than decorate her own front porch, Kera of Haute House Love chose to gift the "Hello Awareness” mat to her friend, neighbor, and breast cancer thriver. Pictured above, we love the way this duo paired the pink ribbon welcome mat with a complementary blue throw and pink painted pumpkins.
The Support Collection honors those everyday comforts that help women tackle the daily challenges of breast cancer. The support of family, friends, medical staff, and loved ones is an essential component on the road to remission.
Lifestyle blogger Heather of Southern State of Mind offers another layered look, pairing our "Gather Together" mat atop an animal print-inspired Coir mat. The warm combination pairs perfectly with adjoining bronze planters and her beautiful wooden front door.
Martha of Simply Cozy Charm also opted for the Support collection, choosing our "Home Love" mat for her adorable pink-clad she shed. Flanked by vibrant mums, we love this top down perspective to remind us that home is where the heart is.
The "Gather Together" mat proved popular with Lynn of Back to the South also selecting the autumn-inspired design for this cozy little nook on her front porch. A favorite place to sip her coffee in the morning, this mat offers a perfect reminder of what the season is all about.
The Thrive Collection, this celebrates the lives off all the women who are forever impacted by this disease but move forward with grace and determination and continue to thrive.
It might be fall, but Lori Allen—author, business owner, and star of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta—is sporting our "Blooming Tulips" design to brighten up her fall front porch decor and the result is wonderful!
